The short version. Nova is made for kids. We collect as little as we can, we hide private details before anything reaches the AI, we never sell data and we show no ads.
Who we are
Nova is run by ZeroOrigine (Nova AI), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Email reply@zeroorigine.com about anything on this page.
Kids and accounts
- Kids can use Nova as guests, with no sign-up.
- Accounts are for adults (18+). A parent can sign in and let their child use Nova with them.
- We don't ask kids for their name, address, school, phone or photos. If one is typed, Nova warns first and hides it.
What we keep
- Guests: chats stay in your own browser. We keep a daily question count tied to a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address, not the address itself.
- Signed-in adults: your email, your chats, projects and memory notes, kept in our database so they work on every device.
- Websites made with Nova: the page you publish, its earlier versions, and a scrambled code of who made it. Anyone with the link can see a published page.
- Nova credits: your balance, each charge (date, size of the answer, amount), your top-ups and receipts. Cards are handled by Stripe; we only keep the card brand and last 4 digits.
- Safety records: when the safety check stops something, we log the type of problem with a scrambled ID, never the words.
What we hide automatically
Card numbers, passwords, phone numbers, email addresses and street addresses are replaced with “[removed]” before a question is saved or sent to the AI.
Who helps us run Nova
- AI service providers read each question to write the answer. They receive the question after private details are hidden.
- Voice: when you speak, the recording is sent to a speech-to-text service to turn it into words. Nova does not keep the recording.
- Supabase (database and sign-in), Netlify (hosting the app and websites), Stripe (payments) and free picture libraries for website photos.

No ads, no tracking
Nova has no advertising and no tracking pixels. Your browser stores your settings (like colours and sound) on your own device.
Deleting your data
- Guests: clear Nova's data in your browser, or delete chats one by one.
- Adults: Settings → Delete my chats, projects and memory. Delete websites in My websites.
- To close your whole account (including credits and receipts), email us. We keep payment records that tax law requires.
We keep your data until you delete it or ask us to.

If this page changes in an important way, Nova will say so in “What's new”.
